Fir Trees

Christmas trees with good color, soft needles, medium flexibility & excellent needle retention. Suitable for all but the heaviest ornaments. Water well & frequently.

Spruce Trees

Spruce trees have blunt to sharper needles that are full and whorl around the branch like a bottle brush. On the cross section, they are four sided or rectangular. Their firmer branches are suitable for heavier ornaments, but I wear gloves when stringing lights on spruce trees.

Pine Trees

Pine trees are variable in needle length, softness & flexibility. This White Pine is the softest, fullest & most flexible. It is not suitable for heavier ornaments, but is beautiful when lighted & decorated with lighter ornaments. Scotch Pines on the other hand have sharper needles & firmer branches suitable for heavier ornaments (wear gloves when stringing lights on this tree!)

Cypress Trees

Soft & lush foliage available in a striking range of colors are the main attraction in Cypress Christmas trees. Beautiful when lit & decorated with the lightest ornaments. Extremely flexible branches make this tree unsuitable for heavy ornaments.

FIR

Fir needles are soft, attractively colorful with space between the firm branches,making the tree easier to decorate than some trees.

Good for heavier ornaments, excellent needle retention & low on pollen.

Spruce

Spruce trees have a lovely pyramidal shape with strong branches. Needles range from green to blue-silvery green, are four sided, rectangular on the cross & on the sharp side.

Good for heavier ornaments, good needle retention.

Pine

There is great variability in pines. The White Pine is a beautiful tree with flexible branches not capable of supporting heavier decorations. Its lush fullness also makes it difficult to squeeze in ornaments.In Contrast, the Scotch Pine is very sharp with firmer branches, capable of supporting heavier ornaments. Needle retention is good in both.
